In Dandora, Naivas delivered one of the day’s most eye-catching performances, running riot in a 3-0 demolition of champions Nairobi United. Three quick goals in the 23rd, 25th, and 31st minutes effectively ended the contest before halftime, as Naivas cruised through the second half to finish third and keep their Premier League hopes alive through the playoff route.
Down at the coast, Mombasa United treated their home fans to a dominant display, dismantling Kibera Black Stars 4-1 at the Ukunda Show Grounds. It was one of their finest performances of the season, but it came too late to lift them into safety.
In Karen, Darajani Gogo edged past Luanda Villa 1-0 thanks to a 49th-minute goal by Edwin Ouko, while in Migori, the hosts left it late to grab all three points. A tense affair against Nzoia Sugar was decided in the 84th minute when Okoth P. struck the winner to seal a 1-0 victory.
Samwest Blackboots were also narrow winners, grinding out a 1-0 result against Mombasa Stars at Serani Sports Complex — a result that confirmed Stars’ relegation.
In Kisumu, Kisumu AllStars and Fortune Sacco played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Laban Otieno opened the scoring early for the hosts, but Fortune responded twice — once before halftime and again just after the restart — to take the lead. Kisumu levelled in the 59th minute and both sides settled for a point apiece.
In Embu, 3K FC beat MOFA 1-0, with Samwel Wahinya scoring the only goal in the 18th minute. The match between APS Bomet and SS Assad was postponed, but Bomet’s position in the automatic promotion slot had already been secured.
